ANZ Virtual venous forum 2020 – Treatment of acute iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis

We had a very informative webinar discussion around treatment of acute DVT and I was glad to learn insights from of one of the world pioneers in the field – Dr Black from London. The trials are mixed on the utility of interventional treatment so case selection is important but there was a general approach towards offering treatment for patients (<65) with iliac involvement who have significant symptoms and acute clot.
